Sailing and Yoga

We offer 3 days 2 night yoga-sailing holidays in Thailand on a beautiful magic Anghtong Marine Park to enjoy meditation sessions or a dynamic yoga practice to finish with the stunning sunsets of the islands. At night, you will moor in a cool beach where you will spend the night at itinerary and the classes are an hour long in some of the most breath-taking settings you’ve ever seen. The Independence SailingYacht also offers a great front deck to relax where you will have some of your meditation 

Itinerary

The itinerary includes some of the best destinations that Marine Park has to offer, including the Sea gypsy island of Ko Paluai, the magical and popular island of ko Wua Ta Lap and the beautiful Mu Ko Ang Thong. There are plenty of hidden beach on the journey and we promise, the trip will be like nothing you’ve ever done before! This Anghtong Thailand were a writer book ghe the inspiration of the famous movie The Beach with Dicaprio actor, itinerary is like no other; you will have the choice of sessions at various times of the day, including sunrise meditation on the view point 300 meter and sunset yoga on the Esmerald lek.In relax time to explore the beach and cave of 40 islands by yacht, dinghy, kayaking, foot or swimimg and there’s always time for a glass of wine, swimming and mouth-watering local fresh fish and grilled vegetables.

Everyday, depending on the weather and wind, the captain will take you to the best beaches and sports of these islands. You will go to the most beautiful sandy and quite beaches for the morning yoga practices, and then you will sail along enjoying the boat and the privilege of riding the Mediterranean Sea to great spots to enjoy meditation sessions or a Vinyasa yoga practice to finish with the stunning sunsets of the islands. At night, you will moor in a cool beach where you will spend the night at. You will also be able to enjoy a meal in the restaurants by the beach.

The yoga practices will take place in different chosen beaches each morning. Practices on the beach are particular due to the terrain, as they happen on the sand. Please do not expect a practice like you will have in your yoga studio back at home. The practice will be tailored to bring sense of grounding to re-balance after the hours floating on water. You will work on introspective postures, centering the energy as well as dynamic sequences working on core, balance, and focus. The classes will also be tailored to suit the sand element and ensure you enjoy the practice on that element. You will also combine the Vinyasa yoga practices with meditation or other sessions in the afternoon both in the boat deck and in land. You will be ensured that you will not miss any of the stunning sunsets that the Balearic Islands offer.

Accommodation

During this retreat, you will stay on the Independence Yacht. is a great and very comfortable 52-foot long sailing boat. It will accommodate up to 4 people in 3 different cabins, including the captain and the yoga teacher who are crews on board. On board, you will find all facilities, kitchen, bathrooms,TV, JBL music system and an inside a luxuryspacious saloon area. This charming sailing boat also offers a great outdoor dining space with a sitting area. The boat also offers a great front deck to relax where you will have some of your meditation or sun gazing sessions. There is plenty of space on the decks outside to relax, read, or sunbath whilst sailing

During this weekend of sailing, you will get the chance to experience life on a sailing boat. The life on a sailing boat is not about luxury, although is an absolute privilege. You will discover the life from the sea and have the possibility to access many beaches, places, and restaurants that are not reachable by land. The times when you go sailing are for yourself, relaxing moments, or the opportunity to chat and socialize with the group. The daily stops on land will give you the opportunity to go exploring the island, discovering local food, cities, or villages.

On the other hand, you will also learn that life in a boat is different from life in land. It is a small space and you will be an essential part of the crew., the yoga teacher, and the rest of the team in charge of all duties on the boat.

Please be mindful of the group and keep the boat tidy. Doing everything together is fun. Enjoy the bonding and the connection you create with the rest of the group.

Our Yoga Teacher

Donna Ladda has been practicing Vinyasa and completed her Yoga Teacher Training 20 years ago. She teaches and spiritual development Vinyasa to her private guests all around the world and now on board of Independence Yacht too. Donna aims to inspire her students to experience connection through linking mediation and movement, where their yoga practice gives them a personal feeling of strength and inner calm. She is a yoga teacher with whom you can connect and enjoy the yoga practices, philosophy chats, and can have plenty of great moments with.

The Independence is a Mediterranean & Italian restaurant on the sea, and we can cook your food to your dietary, allergies, and religious restriction. If you have specific dietary requirements or would like our chef to prepare a particular menu for your enjoyment then please let us know when arranging your charter.

The seafood is bought fresh on the morning of the trip at the local market.

Our bar is fully stocked with a selection of cold beers, quality wines and spirits. Offering a range of exotic cocktails and non alcoholic beverages, quenching thirst is never an issue whilst on board.

Payment and Cancellation Terms

• All prices include 7% VAT
• Full insurance coverage
• On Day Tours:
  • Full payment necessary prior to departure
  • Cancellations less than 24h before the tour are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • Cancellations the day of the tour will be charged full
• On Overnight Tours:
  • 2 months before the begin of your cruise: at least 50% of the total price to secure the booking
  • until 2 weeks before the begin of your cruise: 100% of the total price.
  • Cancellation up to 2 months prior to the cruise: 50% of the total booking price.
  • cancellation 2 weeks before up to the day of the trip: 100% of the total booking price.
• All payments must be made by cash or bank deposit to Samui Sailing Yacht Co., Ltd.
• The company reserves all rights to change the itinerary depending on the weather and sea conditions
